PSPCL Assistant Lineman ALM Recruitment 2026

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has invited online applications for the recruitment of Assistant Lineman (ALM) vacancies. This mega recruitment drive is aimed at filling 3,289 technical roles in Punjab Power Department. The online registration process starts on June 15, 2026, and the last date to apply is July 6, 2026.

ALM Vacancies and Salary Scale

A total of 3289 vacancies are available under this recruitment drive. Selected candidates will be placed on a probation period of 3 years, during which they will receive a fixed minimum monthly salary of Rs. 19,900/- as per Punjab Government guidelines, with regular pay scales applicable upon successful probation completion.

Detailed Academic & Technical Qualifications

To be eligible to apply for PSPCL ALM 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Essential Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Technical Qualification: National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman trade or ITI Diploma in Electrician/Wireman trade from a recognized institute.
• Language Requirement: Knowledge of Punjabi language is compulsory. Candidates must have passed Punjabi in Matriculation (Class 10) or its equivalent examination.
• Age Limit (As of 01-01-2026): Candidates must be between 18 years and 37 years of age. Upper age limit relaxations apply for SC, BC, and PwD candidates of Punjab state.

PSPCL ALM Selection Procedure

The selection process consists of two stages:

1. Online Written Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 100 objective-type questions (70 questions related to the technical field and 30 questions from General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Arithmetic).
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on written exam scores will be called for verification of certificates and checking of the Punjabi language qualification.
