Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2025 – Apply for 379 Posts under 66th Short Service Commission (Technical)

The Indian Army has announced recruitment for 379 posts under the 66th Short Service Commission (SSC Technical) entry for both men and women. This is a great opportunity for engineering graduates to serve the nation as commissioned officers in the Indian Army.


Vacancy Details:

  • SSC Tech (Men): 350 Posts

  • SSC Tech (Women): 29 Posts


Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering stream from a recognized university or institution.


Age Limit (As on 01 April 2026):

  • Minimum Age: 20 years

  • Maximum Age: 27 years

  • Upper age limit for widows of Defence Personnel: 35 years

  • Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.


Selection Process:

  • Shortlisting of Applications

  • SSB Interview (Stage I & Stage II)

  • Document Verification

  • Medical Examination

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB Interviews at selection centers.


Salary Structure:

  • Salary details have not been officially released yet. However, candidates selected as Lieutenant (entry-level rank) generally receive Level 10 pay in the range of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month, along with military allowances.
