MoEFCC Recruitment 2025: Project Associate Vacancy – Apply by 19 November 2025

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India, invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Project Associate under its ongoing environmental conservation projects.

Position Details:

• Post: Project Associate

• Organization: Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC)

• Number of Vacancies: Multiple

• Work Location: New Delhi / Project sites across India

• Monthly Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

• Contract Duration: Initially 1 year (extendable based on performance and project needs)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Ecology, Climate Studies, Zoology, Botany, or related fields from a recognized university.

Desirable Skills:

• Understanding of environmental policies, biodiversity conservation, field surveys, GIS tools, or climate change adaptation.

• Good report writing and communication skills.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 35 years (as on 1 October 2025)

• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per government norms.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of environmental conservation and monitoring programs.

• Conduct field visits, surveys, and data analysis.

• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Support coordination with state forest departments, research institutions, and NGOs.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisting based on academic qualifications, relevant experience, and research background.

• Interview (online or offline) for final selection.
