Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu (Musician) Recruitment 2024 – Apply Now
The Indian Air Force has released the official notification for Agniveer Vayu (Musician) recruitment. Both unmarried male and female candidates can apply online through the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in. During the four-year service tenure, selected candidates will not be permitted to marry.
Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board.

They should have proficiency in playing Indian or Western musical instruments such as keyboard, tabla, guitar, drums, flute, etc.

Candidates must demonstrate strong skills and regular practice in one or more instruments.

Knowledge of music must go beyond theory — candidates should be able to perform and recognize pitch, rhythm, and melody by ear.

The ability to sing and maintain proper rhythm and scale is also essential.
Physical Fitness Requirements
For Male Candidates:

1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds

20 squats, push-ups, and sit-ups
For Female Candidates:

1.6 km run in 8 minutes

15 squats, 10 push-ups, and sit-ups
Age Limit

Minimum Age: 17½ years

Maximum Age: 21 years
(Candidate must be born between 2 January 2004 and 2 July 2007, inclusive)
Salary (Monthly Package)

1st Year: ₹30,000

2nd Year: ₹33,000

3rd Year: ₹36,500
-
4th Year: ₹40,000
Additional benefits include risk and hardship allowances, uniform, food, and other standard Agniveer allowances.
