SSC CGL Recruitment 2026 – Complete Details Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination every year to fill Group B and Group C posts across various Central Government Ministries, Departments and Offices. SSC CGL 2026 Notification is expected to be released in April 2026 on the official website ssc.gov.in with 15,000+ vacancies. The Tier-1 Computer Based Exam is tentatively scheduled in May-June 2026. Selection Process Stage 1 – Tier 1 (CBT): Computer Based Test with 100 objective questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning (25), General Awareness (25), Quantitative Aptitude (25) and English Comprehension (25). Duration: 60 minutes. Total Marks: 200. This stage is qualifying in nature for Tier 2. Stage 2 – Tier 2 (CBT): Computer Based Test consisting of Paper-I (Compulsory for all posts) covering Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Paper-II for JSO posts (Statistics). Paper-III for AAO posts (Finance and Accounts). How to Apply for SSC CGL 2026 Step 1 – Visit the official SSC website ssc.gov.in and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done. OTR is mandatory before filling the SSC CGL 2026 application form. Step 2 – Once the notification is released, log in using OTR registration number and password. Click on the SSC CGL 2026 application link. Step 3 – Fill in the online application form with personal details, educational qualification, post preference and examination centre choice. Step 4 – Upload scanned copies of recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size. Step 5 – Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempted.
