Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced the Young Professional Recruitment 2026 (Advertisement No. ISP/YP/2026/01) for 48 positions across Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP), IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), and Alloy Steels Plant (ASP). These positions are for Young Professionals (YP-1, YP-2, YP-3) in Projects, Works, and Materials Management Divisions on a fixed-term contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be Indian Nationals, at least 23 years old, and possess a B.E./B.Tech. degree or equivalent from a Government-recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 65% marks. Relevant post-qualification experience in an Executive Cadre in a Steel Plant/Process Industry/Manufacturing Industry is also required. The age limit for YP-1 is 35 years, YP-2 is 38 years, and YP-3 is 42 years, calculated as of 06-06-2026. Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- is applicable for all candidates, payable online. Salary: Monthly retainership fees are Rs. 70,000/- for YP-1, Rs. 1,00,000/- for YP-2, and Rs. 1,40,000/- for YP-3, with annual increments based on performance. Selection Process: The selection process involves application scrutiny, followed by a Computer Based Test (CBT) / Aptitude / Psychometric Test (if applications exceed 5x requirement), and a Personal Interview.
